Peter Newman, CPA

Peter Newman was born in Vienna, Austria. He came to the United States in 1944. Peter graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1960 with a BBA degree. He graduated with distinction in his field of accounting, finance and taxation. He started his career with one of the Big Eight CPA firms and passed his CPA exam in 1962.

For eighteen years he has hosted Kansas Citys most listened to financial program----MONEYLINE, heard every Saturday morning from 11:00 to 1:00 PM on KMBZ 980 AM. His program covers every aspect of financial matters: taxes, investments, insurance, retirement planning, real estate, etc. He has had guests like Steve Forbes, Knight Kiplinger, IRS Commissioner, President of the American Stock Exchange, representatives from almost every major mutual fund, Morningstar, and numerous other financial authorities on his MONEYLINE Program.

He is a well-known and respected lecturer and does approximately 20 to 30 seminars every year for church, civic, and business organizations including lectures for numerous brokerage, mutual fund firms, and banks. He has accredited real estate courses and has lectured at five national Association of Realtors annual meetings from Miami to Honolulu.

Mr. Newman has his own firm: PETER NEWMAN, CPA, CHARTERED. His offices are located in the Windmill Village Office Park, near the Metcalf South Shopping Center at 95th and Metcalf, in Overland Park, Kansas.
